Hello friends, today I am going to show you how you can add fancy characters in your website using HTML entities.

But before that let’s try to answer the question What are HTML Entities?

They are the reserved names or a number code that represents special character. That special character may or may not be present in your keyboard. For example, a copyright symbol or a plus-minus sign.

It always starts with an ampersand (&) and ends with a semicolon (;). If you choose to use the number code than it has to be started with &# symbol. The following is an example to create copyright and plus-minus HTML entity.

© Copyright © ©
± Plus Minus ± ±

You can surely google out other characters and their codes. Let’s now focus on how to create fancy characters? Shall we?
